Corrosion protection - protective wax

Cavity protection wax and aggregate protective wax

The application of protective wax is the last in the series of corrosion protection measures.

Aggregate protective wax is applied on the suspension arm of the front axle body, the front axle body, the rear axle body and the underside of the engine, transmission and fuel tank.

The purpose of the aggregate protective wax is to protect the aggregates from corrosive substances such as water, which reaches the aggregates in the underbody mainly as a result of splashing.

The exhaust system and the area around the exhaust manifold and turbocharger must not be coated during any application of protective wax.
