Axle offset is a angular misalignment (1) between the axis of
symmetry (3) and the geometric driving axis (2).
The angle is positive if the axis of symmetry deviates from the
geometric driving axis in an anti-clockwise direction.
The axle offset is generally given in degrees. If the wheel base
is known, length data is also possible.
