ABS-Control Unit, Replace (MK70)
Important: It is
essential to comply with the instructions for the hydraulic
modulator and the ABS-control unit 
 Remove
| 1. |
Remove hydraulic modulator with ABS-control unit
|
| 2. |
Detach ABS control unit from hydraulic modulator
Important: Remove ABS-control
unit from hydraulic modulator without tilting it
|

Detach ABS control unit from hydraulic modulator
|
|
|
|
| 3. |
Remove 8x seal ring (1) carefully by hand
|
|
|
Install
| 4. |
Push 8x new seal ring (1) and (2) carefully on to valves
|
|
|
| 5. |
Attach new ABS-control unit to hydraulic modulator 2 Nm
| • |
Push ABS-control unit on to hydraulic modulator carefully
without tilting it
|
|
| 6. |
Install hydraulic modulator with ABS-control unit
|
| 7. |
When replacing the ABS control unit, perform programming with
TECH2 after installation
|
