Thermostat, Remove and Install

Remove

1.	Raise vehicle

Drain coolant

•	Place collecting pan underneath.

•	Attach suitable hose to drain connection (2)

•

Open coolant drain screw (1)

–	Drain coolant

•	Close coolant drain screw

3.	Open bonnet

Remove coolant hose (1) from thermostat housing

•	Release clamp

Remove thermostat housing (2) from coolant pump

•	Unscrew 3 bolts

6.	Remove thermostat

7.	Clean sealing surfaces.

Install

8.	Insert thermostat

Attach thermostat housing to coolant pump with new seal ring

•	Tighten 3x bolt 8 Nm

10.

Attach coolant hose

•	Fasten clamp

11.	Fill and bleed cooling system
