Engine maintenance using a section engine > < Replace oil baffle plate

Replace cylinder block ventilation flange

  Remove

1.   Remove alternator support
2.   Remove starter
  • In vehicles with M20-6 transmission LUREF_1.gif
  • In vehicles with M20-6 MTA transmission LUREF_1.gif
3.   Detach exhaust port for cylinder block ventilation (1)
•   Detach cylinder block ventilation hose
– Release clamp
•   Unscrew 6x bolts
Object Number: 8063941 Size: DEFAULT


  Install

4.   Attach exhaust port for cylinder block ventilation
•   Use 3x new seal
•   Tighten 6x bolt 9 Nm
•   Attach cylinder block ventilation hose
– Fasten clamp
5.   Fit starter
  • In vehicles with M20-6 transmission LUREF_1.gif
  • In vehicles with M20-6 MTA transmission LUREF_1.gif
6.   Install alternator support
