Crankshaft Pulse Pick-Up, Remove and Install

  Remove

1.   Open bonnet
2.   Disconnect battery
•   Detach ground cable
•   Detach ground connection from ground terminal
– Slacken nut
3.   Raise vehicle by its full height
4.   Remove crankshaft pulse generator (1)
•   Disconnect wiring harness connector.
•   Unscrew bolt

  Install

5.   Install crankshaft pulse generator
•   Tighten bolt 9 Nm
•   Connect wiring harness plug
6.   Lower vehicle by its full height
7.   Connect battery
•   Attach ground connection to ground terminal
– Tighten nut
8.   Program volatile memories
9.   Close bonnet
