Change transmission fluid (AF22)
Note: Only perform a
transmission fluid change if the vehicle is subjected to extreme
operating conditions.
Conditions are considered extreme if one or more of the following
occur frequently:
Cold starts, stop-and-go traffic, caravan/trailer towing, driving
in mountainous terrain, driving on poor roads, high amounts of
pollution, airborne sand and dust, high altitudes and great
temperature fluctuations.
Extreme operating conditions also applies to police vehicles,
taxis, driving school vehicles and when the vehicle is driven
frequently in mountainous terrain with a high load and/or towing a
caravan/trailer.
In these vehicles, transmission fluid is to be changed every 4
years or 60,000 km in the scope of the service plan.
