Centre Valve Body, Dismantle and Assemble (AF17)

Note:   The valve body is only dismantled for cleaning purposes.

Individual parts for the valve body are not available from suppliers; the complete valve body must be replace in the event of loss or damage.

  Remove

3.   Remove primary regulating valve Note:   Sleeve of primary regulating valve is under spring tension. •   Detach keeper, primary regulating valve •   Remove sleeve of primary regulating valve (1) •   Remove piston, primary regulating valve (2) •   Remove primary regulating valve (3) with spring 4.   Remove modulator, converter clutch Note:   Plug of converter clutch modulator, is under spring tension. •   Detach keeper, converter clutch modulator •   Remove plug, converter clutch modulator (5) •   Remove modulator of converter clutch (4) with spring 5.   Remove 3/4-gearshift valve Note:   3/4 gearshift valve is under spring tension •   Detach keeper, 3/4-gearshift valve •   Remove plug, 3/4-gearshift valve •   Remove sleeve, 3/4-gearshift valve (6) •   Remove 3/4-gearshift valve (7) with spring 6.   Remove 2/3-gearshift valve Note:   2/3 gearshift valve is under spring tension. •   Detach keeper, 2/3-gearshift valve •   Remove plug, 2/3-gearshift valve •   Remove 2/3-gearshift valve with spring

7.   Remove 1/2-gearshift valve Note:   1/2 gearshift valve is under spring tension •   Detach keeper, 1/2-gearshift valve •   Remove plug, 1/2-gearshift valve •   Remove 1/2-gearshift valve (4) with spring 8.   Remove B1 modulator valve Note:   Modulator valve is under spring tension •   Detach keeper, B1 modulator valve •   Remove plug, B1 modulator valve •   B1 modulator valve (6) with spring •   Detach sleeve, B1 modulator valve (5) 9.   Remove accumulator control valve Note:   Plug of accumulator control valve is under spring tension •   Detach keeper of accumulator control valve •   Remove plug of accumulator control valve (1) •   Remove accumulator, control valve (2) •   Remove accumulator control valve (3) with spring

  Install

11.   Install accumulator control valve •   Insert accumulator control valve (3) with spring •   Insert piston, accumulator control valve (2) •   Insert plug, accumulator control valve (1) •   Attach keeper of accumulator control valve 12.   Install B1 modulator valve •   Insert sleeve, B1-modulator valve (5) •   Insert B1 modulator valve (6) with spring •   Insert plug, B1 modulator valve •   Attach keeper, B1 modulator valve 13.   Install 1/2 gearshift valve •   Insert 1/2 gearshift valve (4) with spring •   Insert plug 1/2 gearshift valve •   Attach keeper, 1/2-gearshift valve

14.   Install 2/3 gearshift valve •   Insert 2/3 gearshift valve with spring •   Insert plug 2/3 gearshift valve •   Attach keeper, 2/3-gearshift valve 15.   Install 3/4 gearshift valve •   Insert 3/4 gearshift valve (6) with spring •   Insert sleeve 3/4-gearshift (7) •   Insert plug, 3/4 gearshift valve •   Attach keeper, 3/4-gearshift valve 16.   Install modulator of converter clutch •   Insert modulator of converter clutch (4) with spring •   Insert plug, modulator of converter clutch (5) •   Attach keeper, modulator of converter clutch 17.   Install primary regulating valve •   Insert primary regulating valve (3) with spring •   Insert piston of primary regulating valve (2) •   Insert sleeve, primary regulating valve (1) •   Attach keeper, primary regulating valve
