Transmission Fluid Level, Check and Correct
(F13/F13+)
Note: The
transmission fluid level is always below the inspection aperture ex
works (up to 16 mm).
Check transmission fluid level only after repair operations on
transmission and correct if necessary.
 Remove

Detach lower engine cover
Note: If present.

| 2. |
Check transmission fluid level
Note: Transmission must
be filled up to the lower edge of the inspection aperture.

Unscrew fluid checking bolt (1)
|
|
|
| 3. |
Unscrew reversing lamps switch (1)
| • |
Disconnect wiring harness plug, reversing lamp switch
|
|
|
|
Install
| 4. |
Top up with transmission fluid
| • |
Top up with transmission fluid until it emerges at the
inspection aperture
|
|
|
| 5. |
Tighten fluid checking bolt (1) 4 Nm +
(45...135)°
|
|
| 6. |
Tighten reversing lamp switch (1) 20
Nm
| • |
Connect wiring harness plug to reversing lamp switch
|
|
|
|
| 7. |
Attach lower engine cover
Note: If present.
