Replace Open and Start receiver in bottom of rear
panel L35
 Remove
| 1. |
Remove right and left tail light 
|
|
| 2. |
Detach rear panelling at top
| • |
Unscrew outer bolt on right (2) and left (1)
|
|
|
|
| 3. |
Release rear panelling
| • |
Unscrew 4x outer bolt on right (2) and left (1)
|
| • |
Remove 2x body-bound rivets (arrows) at bottom
|
|
|
|
Important: Risk of damage!
Carefully release rear panelling from side guide rails. Press rear
panelling upward at side guide rail while at the same time pulling
outward in direction of arrow.

Detach rear panelling at side
Note: 2nd mechanic
required!

Unclip rear panelling from right and left guide rail on
outside
|

|
|
| 5. |
Unclip rear panelling from rear guide rail
|
|
| 6. |
Remove Open and Start receiver
| • |
Disconnect wiring harness plug (2)
|
| • |
Remove Open and Start receiver
|
|
|
|
Install
| 7. |
Install Open and Start receiver
| • |
Insert Open and Start receiver
|
| • |
Connect wiring harness plug
|
|
| 8. |
Position rear panelling
Note: 2nd mechanic
required!

Clip rear panelling into left guide rail
|
| • |
Clip rear panelling into rear guide rail
|
| • |
Clip rear panelling into right guide rail
|
|
| 9. |
Install front panelling
| • |
Fasten 4x bolt outer right and left 2.5
Nm
|
|
| 10. |
Attach rear panelling at top
| • |
Fasten bolt outer right and left 2.5
Nm
|
|
| 11. |
Install right and left tail light
|
|
