Actuation Unit for Tailgate Lock - Replace L08

  Remove

1.   Remove tailgate lower inner panelling LUREF_1.gif
2.   Remove tailgate panel
Note:   The central fastening bolts are inserted from outside with additional locking compound
•   Disconnect wiring harness plug (2)
•   Unscrew 6x nut (1)

3.   Remove switch from tailgate panel
•   Unclip 2x bolt from guide (arrow)
•   Unclip wiring harness plug (2)
•   Unclip wiring harness
•   Unclip switch
– Unclip 2x retaining lug (1)
•   Remove switch

  Install

4.   Install switch in tailgate panel
•   Clip in switch
•   Unclip wiring harness
•   Unclip wiring harness plug
•   Clip 2x bolt into guide
5.   Install tailgate panel
•   Connect wiring harness plug
•   Tighten 6x nut 3.0 Nm
6.   Install tailgate lower inner panelling LUREF_1.gif
