Rear Wiring Harness, Replace L48

Important:   Replace or repair wiring harnesses observing the safety regulations of electrics/electronics.

  Remove

1.   Disconnect battery.
2.   Remove instrument panel padding LUREF_1.gif
3.   Remove moulded headlining
4.   Remove carpet base
5.   Remove bulkhead closure plate LUREF_1.gif
6.   Remove engine compartment electronics module (FZM) LUREF_1.gif


7.   Overview of rear wiring harness RHD
Note:   Applicable to vehicles with rear electronics module (REC).

  Install

11.   Install bulkhead closure plate LUREF_1.gif
12.   Fit engine compartment electronics module (FZM) LUREF_1.gif
13.   Fit carpet base
14.   Install moulded headlining
15.   Install instrument panel padding LUREF_1.gif
16.   Connect battery.
17.   Program volatile memories
