 Remove

Prepare removal of wiring harness

Remove air filter hose (3)

the engine removed.

Expose wiring harness diesel injection system in upper area
| • |
Release and disconnect 4x injector wiring harness plugs
|
| • |
Detach 4x wiring harness sheathed glow plugs
|
| • |
Release 2x wiring harness plugs and disconnect
|
| • |
Release and disconnect wiring harness plug camshaft sensor
|
|
|
|
| 6. |
Expose wiring harness diesel injection system in side area
| • |
Release wiring harness plug throttle valve and disconnect
|
| • |
Release and disconnect wiring harness plug coolant temperature
sensor
|
|
|
|
| 7. |
Expose wiring harness diesel injector system - rear
| • |
Release wiring harness plug EGR and disconnect
|
| • |
Release and disconnect wiring harness plug actuator drive
change-over flap
Note: Difficult access.
Use suitable aids.

Release wiring harness plug oil level sensor and disconnect
|
| • |
Release wiring harness plug crankshaft and disconnect
|
|
|

Expose wiring harness diesel injector system - rear

Release and disconnect wiring harness plug diesel injection
pump

Release and disconnect wiring harness plug charge pressure
sensor
|
|
|

Expose wiring harness in area of control unit for diesel
injection pump

Release wiring harness plug and disconnect
|

Install

Install wiring harness diesel injection system

Install air filter hose

Remove battery carrier

Program volatile memories
