Front Side Door Trim Replacement (5-Door Hatchback 68 and Wagon 35)

Preliminary Procedures

1. Remove front side door window switch opening cover. Refer to . Front Side Door Window Switch Opening Cover Replacement
2. Remove front side door pull handle cover. Refer to . Front Side Door Pull Handle Cover Replacement

Front Side Door Inside Handle Bolt

Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution .

Tip
Pull handle back to remove cap. Use suitable tool to unsnap.

Front Side Door Pull Handle Bolt (Qty: 2)

Tip
It is not necessary to remove the three visible bolts at the handle.

Front Side Door Trim Clip-Green (Qty: 2)

  Note:  Use a NEW retainer before installing the front side door trim.

Front Side Door Trim Clip-Blue (Qty: 5)

  Note:  Use a NEW retainer before installing the front side door trim.

Front Side Door Trim Assembly

Procedure

1. Pull upwards on the door lock retainer cable to disengage.
2. Disconnect the electrical connectors.
