Glass-fibre reinforced plastic (GRP), polycarbonate (PC), polyurethane (PUR), polyamide (PA), polypropylene (PP/EPDM), acrylonitrile-butadiene styrene (ABS), on primed new parts and production paint applications (Uni-1-coat paint applications)

Antistatic cleaner

Spray on using pump atomiser and dry with highly absorbent cloth.

Sand

Wet sandpaper

Sand down fault site with grain no lower than P 800. Give a matt finish to remaining surface using sanding/matting pad fine, blend prep.

Prime

Plastic primer

Spray two layers. Setting time 5 minutes. Paint stage II includes minor repairs (no putty application).

Sand

Sanding/matting pad fine

After drying, only if required.

Only if required. Remove dust with tack cloth.

Elasticate top coat paint. 100 Parts – top coat paint 20 Parts – plastocryl

Elasticated top coat paint 2-C-MS hardener 30 Universal thinner

100 Parts – elasticized top coat paint 50 Parts – hardener 10 Parts – thinner Spray one layer. Setting time 3 to 5 minutes. Final spraying with one more layer. Setting time prior to oven drying 5 minutes.
