Fuel Injection Fuel Rail Fuel Return Tube Replacement

Removal Procedure

1. Open the hood.
2. Remove the engine sight shield. Refer to Engine Sight Shield Replacement .
3. Disconnect the negative battery cable. Refer to Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection .

4. Unclip the 4 fuel injection fuel return hose retaining clips (4) in direction of arrow.
5. Remove the 4 fuel return hose connectors (1) from the 4 fuel injectors.
6. Remove the fuel injection fuel return hose (2) from the diesel fuel separator (3).

Installation Procedure

1. Install a NEW fuel injection fuel return hose (2) to the diesel fuel separator (3).
2. Install the 4 fuel return hose connectors (1) to the 4 fuel injectors.
3. Clip in the 4 fuel injection fuel return hose retaining clips (4).
4. Connect the negative battery cable. Refer to Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection .
5. Install the engine sight shield. Refer to Engine Sight Shield Replacement .
6. Close the hood.
