Seat belt tensioner wire damaged due to
wrong routing below outer seat rail trim cover. |

Introduction of an improved seat rail cover
trim within MY 2012. |
Remedy
In case of customer complaint, replacement of the outer seat rail
trim cover-, or the seat belt tensioner, ensure shown OK wire routing
during installation.
NOK routing causes the seat belt tensioner wire (1) to be damaged
during seat height adjustment. (squeezing of the wire between trim
socket and metal seat rail)
Final production solution will be the introduction of an improved
trim cover within MY 2012.

driver or co-driver seat
The costs for this repair will be covered during warranty and policy.
