Survey of Engines and Engine Management Systems
The octane number specifications printed in bold face in the following tables indicate the production octane number setting for the relevant vehicle.
The following explanations apply to all abbreviations and footnotes in section 3.6 "Survey of Engines and Engine Management Systems".
1) If unleaded premium fuel is not available, use of unleaded regular fuel with RON 91 is permitted provided that high engine loads, full load driving, driving in hilly regions with trailer loads or high payloads is avoided.

2) If unleaded premium fuel is not available, use of unleaded regular fuel with RON 91 is possible. For this, use the coding plug available from the "Parts and Accessories" Department. See following table.
