Radiator Crossmember (Front Member), Lead Routing of Ambient Air Temperature Sensor

 

Vehicles:

 

Corsa - B, Tigra

 

General:

 

With the start of Model Year 1995, the lead routing to the temperature sensor has been altered.

The crossmember (front member) has been equipped with a new temperature sensor bracket (see illustration).

The previous strut is thus omitted.

Aftersales will not replenish stocks of the previous crossmember (front member) part no. 90 482 326 cat. no. 13 12 247 as of Model Year 1995.

If crossmembers (front members) as of ident. no.: S 4041626 are used (body repairs), route the leads as for the new version for vehicles up to ident. no.: S 4041625 as well.

Operation:

 

Attach crossmember (front member) as specified in the Service Instructions, group A.

Attach temperature sensor bracket at pre - stamped point in crossmember (front member) and bolt on.

Fasten bracket to coolant line with cable tie (1).

Clip temperature sensor and wiring harness into bracket (2).

Install attaching parts.
