Unscrew both wiper arms and remove from wiper bearings. Lever covers out of wind deflector.
Unscrew fastening bolts (1) from cowl. Raise cowl at the centre and pull out both parts one at a time.
Remove, Disconnect
Remove rubber seal from bulkhead. Unbolt plastic nuts (1) from both wiper bearings. Remove expansion nuts (2). Lift front edge of water deflector and remove from wiper bearings.
Install, Connect
Position and fasten water deflector. Insert right and left halves of cowl consecutively and connect together. Fasten cowl. Insert covers. Connect rubber seal to bulkhead. Install both wiper arms.
Important!
The two wiper arms are not identical. The wiper arm on the passenger side is 36 mm/1.4 in. longer than on the driver's side and angled just behind the fastening (arrow). Mirror image on RHD vehicles.
Adjust
Set wiper arms in rest position.
The gaps extend from the edge of window (visible end of glass) to the blade centre at the blade attachment point.
On vehicles with right-hand drive, carry out adjustment as per mirror image.
Remove, Disconnect 
Install, Connect
