In case of complaint the roof box has to be replaced.
Working Procedures:
1. Replaced roof box incl. sealing - see working procedure "R&R roof box", unit "A" in the respective Service Instruction.
2. Before painting the roof box apply anti-chip coating using the crosswise-method (layer thickness ca. 150 µm).
3. Paint roof container in vehicle colour.
Advice: Paint roof box, deviate the publicized procedure applying anti-chip coating, in removed condition.
