Centre Bearing - Rear Seat Backrest (Split), Remove and Install - as of MY '96 > < Rear Seat Backrest (Single Piece), Remove and Install - Models 73, 78, 79, F 35

Rear Seat Backrest, Split, Remove and Install - as of MY '96  

Object Number: 616191 Size: DEFAULT  Remove, Disconnect   

Remove load compartment cover and fold rear seat backrest forwards.  

For Model F 35: Release upholstery (rear side) from underbody.  

Unscrew panel (1) and hinge (2) from wheel well. Fold back rear seat backrest halves, unscrew from centre bearing (3) and remove seat halves. Proceed analogously on other side.  

Object Number: 616192 Size: DEFAULT  Install, Connect   

Insert rear seat backrest halves, bolt to centre bearing (3) - 20 Nm / 15 lbf. ft., fold forwards and bolt hinge to wheel well (2) - 30 Nm / 22 lbf. ft. Attach wheel well panel (1). Proceed analogously on other side.  

Install load compartment cover.
