Shell (Glass), Replace  

  Remove, Disconnect   

Push back sun screen until stop. Wind open sun roof shell halfway. Unscrew actuating unit cover (1) and remove forwards.   Wind sun roof shell to closed position. Remove panel (2) of glass covering on right and left sides. Unscrew shell from the right and left lateral guides (3). Remove shell from roof aperture.     Install, Connect    Insert glass shell in roof aperture (see illus. II).     Important!    To avoid mistakes when inserting, note that safety glass sign is positioned at rear of roof cut-out and wide chequered edging at front of roof cut-out.   4   Wide chequered edging at front   5   Safety glass sign at rear

  Install, Connect   

Slightly screw shell (glass) to lateral guide using new self-locking screws. Wind shell to closed position.     Adjust    Shell height to roof edge:     I  front -1 mm/0.04 in   II  rear + 1 mm/0.04 in

  Install, Connect   

Fasten shell (glass) to lateral guide - 5 Nm / 4 lbf. ft.   Press moulding onto glass covering shell. Crank shell to half-open position and screw on actuating unit cover.
