Front Water Drain Hose, Replace - Model 73, 78, 79
Remove, Disconnect
Remove moulded headlining - see operation "Moulded Headlining, Remove and Install or Replace - Models 73, 78, 79" (detach B and C/D pillar panels beforehand).
Detach water drain hose (1) from plenum chamber (2) fittings and remove from A pillar.
Install, Connect
Trim new water drain hose to match length of original part or trim length to 1,470 mm/57.8 in. for Models 73, 78, 79. Cut adhesive tape Part No. 17 82 800 to specified dimensions (see illus.) as damping and wrap around length of hose. If re-using original part, ensure that felt washer is positioned properly or otherwise replace as described above.
Insert water drain hose with end A forward into A pillar and onto plenum chamber (do not cement). Install moulded headlining - see operation "Moulded Headlining, Remove and Install or Replace - Models 73, 78, 79".
Remove, Disconnect 
Install, Connect
