Rear Water Drain Hose, Replace - Models 73, 78, 79
 Remove, Disconnect Remove moulded headlining - see operation "Moulded Headlining, Remove and Install or Replace - Models 73, 78, 79" (detach B and C/D pillar panels beforehand). Remove service hatch (rear quarter panelling, rear right and left). Cut through cable strap (arrow). Detach drain hose (2) from rubber grommet (1). |

Remove, Disconnect Detach water drain hose (1) from water container (2) fittings and remove from C/D pillars.
 Install, Connect Trim new water drain hose to match length of original part or:

length = 1.170 mm, Model 73 |

length = 1.325 mm, Model 78, 79 |
Trim adhesive tape Part No. 17 82 800 to dimensions in illus. as damping and wrap around length of hose. If re-using original part, ensure that felt washer is positioned properly or otherwise replace as described above. |

Install, Connect Insert water drain hose with end (B) into C/D pillar. Slide hose with end (A) on plenum chamber fitting (do not cement). Grip hose (2) through service hatch opening. Slide hose in rubber grommet (1) and secure with cable clip (arrow). Close service hatch. Install moulded headlining - see operation "Moulded Headlining, Remove and Install or Replace - Models 73, 78, 79". |
