Injector (Multi-point Fuel Injection)

This multi-point fuel injection system is a conventional fuel injection system with a cut-off control system. In this case, the signal plot only has one voltage spike.

Measurement:

Injector signal.

Check Objective:

Checking control and operation of the injector.

Preparation

Engine oil temperature > 80 ° C. Switch off all electrical loads. Switch off the engine and ignition.

Connections

INPUT A

COM/TRIGGER

Connect the red measurement lead to the injector connection plug.

Control lead colour: BRXX

Except SINTRA: XXSW

Connect ground lead to ground.

Procedure

Start the engine and allow it to idle.

Reference Curve

Notice:

If there is considerable variation of the voltage peaks, the horizontal scaling factor can be increased up to 500 μ s/DIV to stabilise the display of the signal plot.
