Oil Filter Cartridge, Replace > < Oil Pump, Check

Oil Pressure Regulating Valve, Remove and Install  

Object Number: 616191 Size: DEFAULT  Remove, Disconnect   

Unscrew pressure regulating valve (see illus. I). (Installation position below injection pump)  

Object Number: 616196 Size: DEFAULT  Inspect   

Check pressure regulating valve for dirt particles adhering to it and that it does not jam.  

Compress valve by pressing down lightly with screwdriver and check for correct function, replace if necessary (see illus. II).  

Object Number: 616192 Size: DEFAULT  Install, Connect   

Coat new seal ring with silicone grease (white) and fit. Install oil pressure regulating valve.  

Object Number: 616199 Size: DEFAULT  Tighten (Torque)   

Oil pressure regulating valve to cylinder block - 35 Nm / 26 lbf. ft.  

Object Number: 2394172 Size: DEFAULT
