Toothed Belt Tension, Check  

Object Number: 616201 Size: DEFAULT  Important!   

The toothed belt is tensioned by a spring-loaded tension roller.  

Object Number: 616191 Size: DEFAULT  Remove, Disconnect   

Remove air intake hose and air cleaner housing. Remove upper toothed belt panelling. RHD vehicles: Unbolt bracket for vacuum line from toothed belt panelling.  

Object Number: 2385366 Size: DEFAULT

Release tension roller attachment and turn crankshaft 60 ° counter to engine rotational direction.  

Secure tension roller. First tighten bolt (1) then nut (2).  

Object Number: 616199 Size: DEFAULT  Tighten (Torque)   

Tension roller to cylinder block - 19 Nm / 14 lbf. ft.

Object Number: 616192 Size: DEFAULT  Install, Connect   

Install upper toothed belt panelling. RHD vehicles: Bolt bracket for vacuum line to toothed belt panelling. Install air cleaner housing and air intake hose.  

Object Number: 616199 Size: DEFAULT  Tighten (Torque)   

Toothed belt panelling to front plate - 10 Nm / 7 lbf. ft.  

Object Number: 2385364 Size: DEFAULT
