Rear Seal Ring - Crankshaft, Replace > < Inductive Pulse Pick-up, Remove and Install

Camshaft Pulse Pick-up, Remove and Install  

Object Number: 616191 Size: DEFAULT  Remove, Disconnect   

Push wiring harness plug for camshaft pulse pick-up (1) out of bracket on fuel distributor pipe and disconnect.  

Unclip wiring harness from upper toothed belt cover and remove upper toothed belt cover.  

Object Number: 2386767 Size: DEFAULT

 

 

Object Number: 616191 Size: DEFAULT  Remove, Disconnect   

Unbolt camshaft pulse pick-up from rear toothed belt cover (arrows) and remove.  

Object Number: 616192 Size: DEFAULT  Install, Connect   

Fit camshaft pulse pick-up to rear toothed belt cover - insert bolts with bolt locking compound (red) - tightening torque 8 Nm / 6 lbf. ft.  

Attach upper toothed belt cover - 4 Nm / 3 lbf. ft.  

Object Number: 2386709 Size: DEFAULT

Connect wiring harness plug for camshaft pulse pick-up and insert in bracket on fuel distributor pipe.  

Clip wiring harness for camshaft pulse pick-up into retaining lug on upper toothed belt cover (see illus.).
