Measure diameter of valve guide with dial gauge and inner micrometer (see illus. I). Production size = 6.000 - 6.012 mm. If a dimension larger than 6.012 mm is determined by measurement, the valve guide is worn. In this case, it is possible to ream out the valve guide to the next oversize using Reamer KM-805 and to install a valve of the first oversize stem diameter (K1) - see also "Technical Data". In this case, ream valve guide from upper side of cylinder head to next oversize (see illus. II). After reaming, thoroughly clean valve guide.
