Bypass Valve in Oil Circuit, Replace  

Object Number: 616191 Size: DEFAULT  Remove, Disconnect   

Remove oil filter cartridge with commercially available tool.  

Using tap M10 (3rd stage) cut thread in closure washer, screw in M10 bolt and remove bypass valve from seat.

Object Number: 616192 Size: DEFAULT  Install, Connect   

Drive in bypass valve to stop with brass drift ( Ø 15 mm) (see illus.).  

Lightly lubricate seal ring of oil filter cartridge and tighten by hand.  

Object Number: 616196 Size: DEFAULT  Inspect   

Check engine oil level and correct if necessary.
