Engine at operating temperature (oil temperature ≥ 80 ° C). Remove ribbed V-belt tension roller - see corresponding operation. Detach wiring harness plug and remove oil pressure switch (1, see illus. I), replace if necessary. For vehicles without power steering and AC, use commercially available socket wrench for this purpose, long version 24 mm A/F.
 Measure Screw Adapter KM-135 instead of oil pressure switch into the tapped hole (see illus. III). Connect Oil Pressure Gauge KM-498-B (see illus. II). Measure oil pressure. Minimum oil pressure at idle speed - 30 kPa (0.3 bar). Remove oil pressure gauge and connecting piece.
 Install, Connect Install oil pressure switch - 30 Nm / 22 lbf. ft. Connect wiring harness plug. Install ribbed V-belt tension roller - see corresponding operation. |
