At the fastening bolt of the toothed belt drive gear, turn the crankshaft in engine rotational direction to "1st cylinder ignition TDC" (mark 2). At the same time, the marks (1) on the camshaft pulleys must be aligned and flush with the upper edge of the cylinder head (it must be possible to insert Locking Tool KM-852 in this position). Turn crankshaft slowly and uniformly. If the timing marks do not align - see operation "Timing, Adjust".
 Install, Connect Install upper part of toothed belt cover - see operation "Toothed Belt Cover - Upper Part, Remove and Install". |
