· Start engine Eng. speed signal received ----> · Check reference signal (Hall sensor) from distributor Read off cranking speed Engine starts ----> · Check EST signal from TECH 1.
· Measure voltage at · Connecting line from control unit K 100 Ter. B 5 reference signal B 5 ----> approx. 6 ~ V to distributor pin 2 interrupted or short circuit from distributor and EST signal D 4--> approx. 3 ~ V to ground. with multimeter (20 V/DC). - Distributor defective Ignition stage K 20 Ter. 4 - Connecting line from control unit K 100 Ter. D 4 or to ignition module pin 4 interrupted or short display image of REF signal Square signal circuit to ground. and EST signal on oscilloscope. visible. - Ignition module defective.
· Select TECH 1 mode "F7", submode Engine speed increases · Carry out test step 06 "F0" and increase and decrease and decreases idle speed using arrow keys.
· Idle speed too high or rough. · Loose contact in throttle valve potentiometer
