· Test step 13 is an internal value of the control unit and is dependent on the oxygen sensor voltage as registered by the control unit.

· alternating                                                      approx. 1 to 5 times per sec.                    · Alternates faster:

- Active carbon canister or lines leaky

- Oxygen sensor fastenings loose

- Misfiring in one cylinder

· Alternates very slowly:

- Oxygen sensor contaminated with lead or

outside of oxygen sensor has come in contact

with silicone or petrol or underbody protective

coating.

- Oxygen sensor is wrapped in aluminium foil!

Remove aluminium foil!

- Replace oxygen sensor!

· Test steps 07 to 12                                        OK                                                               · Control unit defective
