·   Engine running at idle speed

·  Vehicle speed less than 1 km/h (0.6 mph)

·  Coolant temperature higher than 75 °C/167 °F

·   Throttle valve aperture less than 2 %

·  Following trouble codes not stored: 21, 22, 24

·  Nominal idle speed is not maintained; the deviation

     is greater than 75 rpm

·   The above conditions must be fulfilled for at least 19 s

     Only for control units up to Model Year 91: C 14 NZ

·   The above conditions must be fulfilled for at least 1 s

     Only for control units as of Model Year 92: C 12 NZ,

     C 14 NZ

If the speed sensor has malfunctioned and trouble code 24 has not yet been recognized, trouble code 35 may be set under certain circumstances.
