Fuel Port Gasket, Replace > < Support Plate, DIS Ignition Module, Remove and Install (X 12 SZ, X 14 SZ, C 14 SE)

Fuel Pressure, Check (Multec)  

Object Number: 616201 Size: DEFAULT  Important!   

Fuel system is pressurised. Depressurise - for this, remove fuel pump relay (arrow) - installation position behind lower right A pillar panelling. Start engine for at least 5 seconds - fuel pressure reduction. Fuel escapes - observe safety precautions!  

Object Number: 616191 Size: DEFAULT  Remove, Disconnect   

Remove air cleaner cover and air intake hose.  

Object Number: 616192 Size: DEFAULT  Install, Connect   

Install Pressure Gauge MKM-588-A (2) in fuel supply line (1) to check fuel pressure.  

Install fuel pump relay.  

Object Number: 616196 Size: DEFAULT  Inspect   

Start engine and read off fuel pressure.  

Nominal value - see relevant Checking Procedures.

Object Number: 616191 Size: DEFAULT  Remove, Disconnect   

Reduce fuel pressure. Remove Pressure Gauge MKM-588-A out of fuel supply and connect fuel line.  

Object Number: 616192 Size: DEFAULT  Install, Connect   

Air cleaner cover to throttle valve injection housing - 4 Nm / 3 lbf. ft., and install air intake hose.  

Install fuel pump relay.
