Injector, Remove and Install
 Important! Fuel system is pressurised. Depressurise - for this, remove fuel pump relay (arrow) - installation position behind lower right A pillar panelling. Start engine for at least 5 seconds - fuel pressure reduction. Fuel escapes - observe safety precautions!
 Remove, Disconnect Remove air cleaner cover and air intake hose. Disconnect wiring harness plug from injector. |

Unbolt bracket for injector. Remove injector carefully from throttle valve injection housing.
 Install, Connect Insert injector with new seal rings in throttle valve injection housing. Open part of plug must point towards retaining screw. Install bracket with fastening bolt - 3 Nm / 2 lbf. ft. 1)

1) Bolts must be recut before re-use and inserted after being coated with bolt locking compound (red). Installation time max. 10 min.
Install, Connect Connect wiring harness plug to injection valve. Fit air cleaner cover and air intake hose. Install fuel pump relay and fit A-pillar panelling.
 Tighten (Torque) Air cleaner cover to throttle valve injection housing - 4 Nm / 3 lbf. ft. |
