Oxygen Sensor, Remove and Install (All Except 12 NZ)
Important!
The oxygen sensor can only be unscrewed carefully out of the exhaust manifold when engine is at operating temperature. When re-installing an oxygen sensor, its thread must be coated with special grease (black) - new oxygen sensors are pre-treated.
Remove, Disconnect
Disconnect wiring harness plug for oxygen sensor from transmission/cylinder block bracket. Unscrew oxygen sensor from exhaust manifold.
Install, Connect
Screw oxygen sensor (arrow) into exhaust manifold - 30 Nm / 22 lbf. ft. 1) .
Connect wiring harness plug for oxygen sensor.
1) Before re-use insert with special grease (black).

Remove, Disconnect 
Install, Connect
