After cold starting (temp. -10 to + 10°C), within a few kilometers, the engine stalls during over-run conditions (up to approximate engine coolant temperature of 50°C).

Cause:

Throttle blade freezing that leads to reduced fuel supply.

Production Solution:

Special part:

Remedy:

Add a drilled hole to throttle blade.

In case of complaint follow the instructions:

-      Remove throttle body.

-      Remove top section of throttle body.

-      Fix bottom section with two long screws in a vice.

-      Mark the throttle blade approx. 4 mm from the edge, on the center line of the blade. Provide a drill center mark with the point of a scriber.

Note: Do not center punch the throttle blade, it`s made out of a soft aluminum andcould suffer deformation.

-      Drill hole (C14 NZ 1.5 mm drilling)  (X14 SZ 1.8 mm drilling)

Note: The hole must be in the correct position, otherwise the stalling problem will not be fixed.

-      Clean all the parts and reinstall using new gaskets.

The idle speed for the X14 SZ must be increased by 75 rpm using Tech 1 or 2.
