This test only applies to vehicles with Direct Ignition Systems DIS up to MY '93

 

Ignition OFF

Connect checking spark plug (1-4)

Ignition ON

Engine OFF

 

Press F5 key in the system main menu, using the arrow keys select the desired test and confirm with YES. Follow the instructions in the TECH 1 Display.

 

Note:

The checking spark plug is actuated at a frequency of 2 Hz (actuation period 10 ms). The test is completed after a maximum of 30 s.
