Coolant Temperature Sensor, Remove and Install  

Depressurise cooling system by opening closure cap on coolant compensation tank.  

Object Number: 616191 Size: DEFAULT  Remove, Disconnect   

Disconnect wiring harness plug from coolant temperature sensor. Unscrew temperature sensor (arrow) from cylinder head. Collect escaping coolant.

Object Number: 616192 Size: DEFAULT  Install, Connect   

Install coolant temperature sensor with new seal ring in cylinder head. Connect wiring harness plug. Top up and bleed cooling system - see corresponding operation. Ensure that anti-freeze is adequate down to -30 ° C / -22 ° F.  

Object Number: 616199 Size: DEFAULT  Tighten (Torque)   

Coolant temperature sensor (Multec-M) in cylinder head - 20 Nm / 15 lbf. ft.
