B-06, F6: ADDITIONAL FUNCTIONS

•  Ignition ON  

•  Vehicle stationary  

•  Press corresponding key in the system main menu to call up Additional Functions, select the desired test and confirm with YES. Follow the instructions in the diagnostic tester display.  

•  Reset by pressing the corresponding key (CURSOR UP key).  

•  Press keys YES and NO to view the corresponding datalist parameters.  

Note:  

The learned value is reset to allow the air required by an engine at idle speed to be evaluated. Depending on the reaction of the control unit, the mechanic/service technician can evaluate whether, for example, leak air or an incorrect fuel pressure is the cause for the deviation of the idle air controller position.
