LINEAR EGR SYSTEM

·   Self- test of exhaust gas recirculation system (exhaust stream measurement):

     The control unit measures the intake manifold pressure immediately before and during the self- test of the exhaust gas recirculation system.

     The control unit recognises a difference lower than 5 kPa (50 mbar).

·   Above condition must be fulfilled twice

Effects:

·   The exhaust gas recirculation system is switched off
