Press key F6 in the system main menu, select the reset mode with key F1. Using the arrow keys, select the desired control unit reset and confirm with YES. Follow the instructions in the TECH 1 display.

IMPORTANT:

During the control unit reset, RST is displayed in the bottom right corner of the TECH 1 display.

Note:

The learned value is reset to allow the air required by an engine at idle speed to be evaluated. Depending on the reaction of the control unit, the mechanic / Service technician can evaluate whether, for example, dead air or an incorrect fuel pressure is the cause for the deviation of the IDLE AIR CONTROL parameter.
