EST LINE COIL CYL 2+3 VOLTAGE LOW

·   System is not in TECH 1 diagnostic mode

·   Final stage diagnosis in control unit:

     Incorrect voltage condition at output Ter. F14 of control unit (ignition signal EST-B) is recognised 6 times (short circuit to ground)

Effects:

·   The injectors for cylinder pair 2-3 are switched off

·   Oxygen sensor regulation is switched off, i.e. open oxygen sensor loop

·   The engine telltale is ON

If trouble codes 63 and 64 are recognised simultaneously:

·   Engine not running:     The injectors for cylinder pairs 1-4 and 2-3 are switched off

·   Engine running:           Only the injector pair where the fault occurred first is switched off.

or:

·   System is not in TECH 1 diagnostic mode

·   Final stage diagnosis in control unit:

     Incorrect voltage condition at output Ter. F14 of control unit (circuit interruption)

·   With ignition ON, the fault is recognised immediately

Effects:

·   The injectors for cylinder pairs 1-4 and 2-3 are switched off

·   The engine does not start

·   The engine telltale is ON
