Pressure Sensor - Intake Manifold, Remove and Install (X 14 XE, C 14 SEL, X 16 XE, C 16 SEL)  

  Remove, Disconnect   

Remove coolant compensation tank (2, see illus. I). Detach vacuum hose and wiring harness plug form intake manifold pressure sensor.   Unbolt intake manifold pressure sensor from bulkhead (1, see illus. I) and remove from threaded pins.     Install, Connect    Fasten intake manifold pressure sensor to bulkhead with new plastic nuts.   Bolt coolant compensation tank to bulkhead.   Connect vacuum hose and wiring harness plug to intake manifold pressure sensor.     Important!    Route the vacuum hose in such a manner that there is a constant downwards slope to the throttle body (see illus. II). This prevents blockage caused by freezing condensation water.
