Remove closure cap from oil filler aperture, unscrew fastening bolts from ignition cable cover and remove ignition cable cover. Disconnect wiring harness plug and all hoses from tank vent valve. Remove tank vent valve upwards from bracket and lay aside (see illus. I). For C 16 XE: using screwdriver, release retaining clips for tank vent valve (1, see illus. II) from below and remove together with tank vent valve upwards out of bracket.
 Install, Connect Push tank vent valve from above into bracket. For C 16 XE: push tank vent valve into bracket from above and insert retaining clips (see illus. III). Connect wiring harness plug and all hoses to tank vent valve. Install ignition cable cover. Place closure cap on oil filler aperture. |
