B-05, F5: ACTUATOR TEST

QUAD DRIVER T.  

 

 

•  Ignition ON  

•  Engine OFF  

•  Press corresponding key in the system main menu to call up Actuator Test functions, select the desired test and confirm with YES. Follow the instructions in the diagnostic tester display.  

Note:  

The test is completed after a maximum of 2 s.  

If more than one circuit is recognised as defective the quad driver of the control unit may be damaged.  

The following faults can be recognised with this actuator test:  

The engine telltale is triggered (flashing).  

TEST OKAY!  

 

•  Short to ground in circuit to control unit terminal B10, B12, B13  

•  Short to voltage in circuit to control unit terminal B10, B12, B13  
 
 
 

 

 

Note:  

An interruption in the concerned circuits can not be recognised by this actuator test.  

 

 

Concerned Terminals:  
B10, B12, B13
