·   Ignition OFF

·   Remove plugs from the throttle valve potentiometer P 34, intake manifold pressure sensor P 23.

coolant temperature sensor P 30, exhaust gas recirculation valve Y 18, exhaust gas recirculation module V 15 and control unit K 57.

 

 

 

·   Ignition ON

 

·   Measure voltage:

from:   wiring harness plug, exhaust gas recirculation module V 15 Ter. A

to:        ground and

to:        wiring harness plug, exhaust gas recirculation module V 15 Ter. D

greater than 11 V

greater than 11 V

·   Lead interruption

from:   wiring harness plug, exhaust gas recirculation module V 15 Ter. A

to:        ignition lock S 1 Ter. 15

from:   wiring harness plug, exhaust gas recirculation module V 15 Ter. D

from:   ground

·   Short circuit in wiring harness

from:   wiring harness plug, exhaust gas recirculation module V 15 Ter. A

Part 2

 

·   Ignition ON

 

·   Measure voltage:

to:        ignition lock S 1 Ter. 15

·   Short circuit in wiring harness

·   Connect exhaust gas recirculation valve Y 18 Ter. E to + 12 V

·   Pulse exhaust gas recirculation valve Y 18 Ter. A to ground

·   Using multimeter, measure resistance:
